Particle "Ha/Wa" (は)

The particle Ha/Wa (は) Indicates that the noun before it (N1) is the topic of the sentence.

1. To show subjek of the sentence. 

• 私（わたし） は Fikriーです. 
• i am fikri

on the sentence, subject is "watashi" or "me". 

• バリ は 綺麗 （きれい）な町( まち) です.
• Bali is beautiful city.

on the sentence 2, tell us about the topic sentence is Bali.

2. Show a affirmation.

• 机 (つくえ） の 上 （うえ）に、えんぴつ は ありますが、本（ほん）は ありません.
• there is a pencil on the desk, but there is no book.

3. Shows a contrasting contrary to what follows.

• 私（わたし） は どら焼き （どらやき） を 買い （かい）ましたが、ラメン は 買いませんでした
• i bought a dorayaki, but i don't bought a ramen.

Note : は  reads わ
